I am a Senior Software Engineer, bilingual in English and Spanish, with over a decade of experience delivering scalable, maintainable full-stack applications. I work most naturally in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Vue, with a strong grounding in modern deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure. I care about clean, testable code and about shipping production-ready features alongside cross-functional teams.

Nintendo of America (2008 - 2018)

I started as an Automation Software Engineer, building automated testing tools in Python and OpenCV that cut manual QA effort and reduced costs by roughly $161k per quarter. Over that decade I progressed from Localization QA Tester to Project Manager, leading the technical direction of cross-functional projects and managing teams of up to 40 people.

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores (2018 - 2021)

As an Application Developer, I built and maintained Node.js APIs for the Love's mobile app with a strong focus on test-driven development and Agile practices. I developed Kafka producers and consumers to integrate queue-management, retail POS, and payment-processing systems, built a Firebase push-notification capability that lifted user engagement, and implemented the high-volume Showers feature, which processed more than $150k in daily transactions.

Heartland Payment Systems (2021 - 2025)

As a Senior Software Engineer in a PCI DSS environment, I led the migration of a data-intensive application to Vue 3 with Pinia, improving the performance of complex sales-data visualizations by over 30%. I cut API latency from more than 2 seconds to 40 milliseconds with Redis caching that minimized Snowflake queries while keeping data fresh, maintained CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps, and architected a full-stack application with real-time pricing across large-scale portfolios.
